Up close for the first time we can show how the back end goes together. The chain adjuster blocks bolt into the dome ended finishers in ana arrangement which combines strength, light weight and visual appeal. The next stage is to weld the finishers to teh swingarm proper which Dave Pearce will be doing in mid September down at the Tigcraft workshop in Hampshire.. The alloy paddock stand bobbins bolt to lugs incorporated into the adjuster blocks.

On the left you can see the rear suspension linkage which Promach completed a few days ago.The curved design of the dog bone will allow us to use all of the adjustment available in the K-Tech DDS rear suspension unit. Mick Edwards has used high specification aluminium alloy for all of the components shown here. We could have got away with a lower grade of material but as always on the Enigma 1050 project, we are putting quality ahead of cost in the pecking order.

Enigma 1050 – a very British motorcycle being built in Hampshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Berkshire, Wiltshire, Surrey, Sussex, Suffolk, Shropshire and Cambridgeshire.
